Pace
Peace
by Sandro Pecchiari close your wings broken love you brought flight and tears harbours sighted and ignored white whale smiles and darkness you granted passion to the touch blades in tongues the sigh of peregrines and an end to the days and the years – close them with branded dreams brandishing pain that no longer throbs – close your eyes left open to bring me back charily to this world that unravels ample and smooth like the air over a field
